Edward Macey-Dare

Edward was educated at Westminster Cathedral Choir School, Stonyhurst, Durham University and The College of Law, Guildford. He qualified as a Solicitor in 1996 and became a partner in Brown Cooper (now Lee Bolton Monier-Williams) in 2000.

Specialising in Employment Law and Dispute Resolution, he represents clients in the City of London and the Wine and Spirits’ sector, most notably the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, the Wine and Spirit Trades’ Benevolent Society and the Institute of Masters of Wine.

He was appointed Assistant Clerk in 2008 before becoming Clerk in February 2009. He is the third generation partner in his firm to hold this ancient office”
