The Worshipful Company of Distillers has supported many worthwhile charities and continues to do so, directing most of its donations towards education within the spirits and associated trades.
Education & Scholarships
During the last few years, our Company has become substantially involved in the promotion of training for people working in our trade from the distillation process through to the consumer.
Loving Cup Ceremony
The Ceremony of the loving cup, which is traditional with all livery companies, is said to date back to Saxon times before the Norman Conquest of 1066, and to derive from the assassination of King Edward.
Links
The Worshipful Company of Distillers has encouraged the formation of links outside the City of London, and has had links with the gin distilling industry going back hundreds of years.
