Distillers Golf Day 2010
Friday 18th June 2010
Budge Brooks Shield
Now in its fourth year at the West Kent Golf Club, the Company Golf Day saw a record number of 22 golfers eagerly anticipating their tee times for the keenly contested Budge Brooks Shield.
The day got off to a good start with players mastering the initial difficulty of locating the course in its splendid setting in the shadow of Biggin Hill airport. A triumph either for past frustrations at missing out on the bacon butties, or new found mastery of satnav technology
February Lunch
At the Livery Lunch held in Vintners' Hall on 4th February 2010, Liveryman Graham Franklin welcomed the Guests who included the Master's principal guest, Mr Henry Bellingham M.P.
In responding on behalf of the guests, Mr Bellingham gave an energetic rundown of the political situation and the desirability of returning his party with a substantial majority before proposing the traditional toast to the Company.
