The Master’s Treasure Hunt took place on Sunday April 10th, a beautiful spring day and perfect conditions for looking for clues around The City of London!
Using Davy’s Boot & Flogger near London Bridge as our base, start and finish, 10 teams made up of members of our Livery, the Coopers and the Glass Sellers, as well as friends and family, accepted the challenge laid down by Hazel Baker from London Guided Walks who devised the route and clues.
The winning team was Liveryman Nathan Last and his family, with an impressive 38 points won out of a possible 41 on offer. Second place went to our Assistant Clerk, Kim Lyons and her family – many congratulations Nathan & Kim!
Great fun had by all and delighted to report that the event raised £700 for the 350th Anniversary Appeal.
Thanks to Liverymen David Cox, Nathan Last and Hazel Baker, everyone at Davy’s Boot & Flogger who helped me to put this event together and making it such a success.
