Over 170 visiting Masters, Clerks, Liverymen and other guests packed Vintners’ Hall for the Distillers’ Annual Spirits Tasting event, in conjunction with The World Drinks Awards. There was an opportunity to taste over 200 award winning spirits from all around the world, as well as cocktails both pre-mix and made on site. This event was masterminded by Damian Riley-Smith and his team from Paragraph Publishing. Both Damian and the Master Distiller made brief speeches of welcome to the guests.
As per last year, at the end of the evening, participants were able to take away 2 random bottles drawn from the tasting for £20. This raised over £2000 for the Lord Mayor’s Appeal.
