Court & Livery Luncheon : Vintners' Hall
A Court and Livery Luncheon will take place at 12.30pm for 1.00pm, during which the Company’s scholarships and golfing prizes will be presented.
The Master's guest speaker will be Tony Hales CBE. He was the CEO of Allied Domecq for 8 years at a time when it was one of the biggest British companies and had a large spirits portfolio including Ballantines Scotch, Courvoisier Cognac, Makers Mark Bourbon, Canadian Club Canadian Whisky, Beefeater Gin and Harvey’s Sherry. Tony also has had a wide range of business and artistic interests including Chair of NAAFI, Workspace, British Waterways and Canal and River Trust. He was also a director of Aston Villa for 10 years in the Premiership! He currently Chairs the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, and the Greenwich Foundation and is a director of Welsh National Opera and an Honorary Governor of the Royal Shakespeare Company. He is a Liveryman of the Brewers' Company and when time permits he plays his saxophone!
Consorts' Luncheon : Innholders' Hall
This year, the Mistress, Nicola Riley, will be hosting a Consorts' Luncheon to coincide with the February Livery Luncheon and it is very much hoped that your consort will attend. The Luncheon will be held at Innholders' Hall, 30 College Street, London EC4R 2RH. There will be a champagne reception at 12.30pm, followed by Luncheon at 1.00pm. There will also be a short talk by Fiona Adler, our Livery Committee liaison officer who, in addition to being a former non-aldermanic Sheriff herself, was Consort to the Aldermanic Sheriff in 2017/18. The Luncheon will finish at approximately 3.00pm. After the luncheon, the consorts will join the Livery at Vintners' Hall (which is a short walk from Innholders' Hall) for a stirrup cup.
