    AboutCompany policies

The Distillers’ Company wants everyone who encounters its work to feel respected, welcome and able to take part with confidence.

    PoliciesOur policies

Its policies turn that intention into clear expectations. They explain the culture the Company is working to create, the conduct expected during Company business and events, and how someone can raise a concern when those standards are not met.

    • Diversity and inclusion

The Company values the different perspectives, experience and knowledge people bring. It aims to widen participation and build a Livery in which members, prospective members and guests feel comfortable, valued and included.

    Putting the policies into practice

Policies matter when they shape everyday decisions and behaviour. The Company keeps these commitments under review and communicates them to members, office holders, committee members and others acting on its behalf.

Everyone shares responsibility for creating a respectful culture: through how they welcome others, respond to different perspectives, support accessibility and act when something does not feel right.
