    The Worshipful Company of DistillersMembership

The Distillers’ Company brings together people who care about the future of the spirits industry and want to play an active part in it.

MembershipA modern community with deep roots

Members work in distilling, brand building, hospitality, education, finance, law and other fields that support the trade. What connects them is a belief in fellowship, generosity, knowledge and excellence, and a willingness to contribute their experience for the benefit of others.

The Worshipful Company of Distillers received its Royal Charter in 1638 and is one of the historic livery companies of the City of London. It is now a professional and social community with members across the UK and strong connections throughout the international spirits industry.

Members can take part in formal Company occasions, industry discussions, tastings, visits, sporting and social clubs, charitable activity and the wider life of the City. Membership is also a way to meet people from different disciplines, generations and parts of the trade.
