    Grant of Livery lunch

Celebrate the Company’s grant of Livery in 1672 with lunch at Watermen’s Hall. The Master will welcome representatives of other Livery Companies and those who have supported him during his year. The menu pairs five courses with five wines and five spirits.

    Additional information

The Company received its first Royal Charter in 1638 and Livery status in 1672, 34 years later. The Cook & The Butler and the Spirit and Wine Committee have created the five-course lunch. Watermen’s Hall is the City’s only remaining Georgian hall. Wear business attire, the Company City tie, and Livery medals or badges of office.

Booking closes on 11 October 2026. No refunds or booking changes are permitted after this date. The Events Team will try to help with late requests, but cannot guarantee that it can accommodate them.
