The Distillers’ Company delivered its autumn Business of Spirits course for CIBD graduates on 1 October 2026. Company Freemen attended for the first time.
The Distillers’ Company delivered its autumn Business of Spirits course for the Chartered Institute of Brewers and Distillers (CIBD) on 1 October 2026.
The session brought together CIBD students who had graduated with a certificate or diploma in distilling. For the first time, Company Freemen also attended, alongside colleagues from the new members activation team, led by Ruchira Neotia.
Presenters and lecturers were Leslie Davey, Nick Carr, Richard Watling, Andrew Parsons, Chris Pitcher and Steve Wilson. Together, they brought more than 120 years of industry experience to the course, with current and former management roles at The Macallan, Diageo, Sky Wave Gin and investment bank Rothschild.
